Be sure to send out invitations including the link to the chat room, where your party is being held, to all of your customers, family and friends. If you are going to be giving away prizes, having a sale or playing games make sure you tell them in your invitation so they will know what to expect - people love free stuff and sales!

Arrive in the chat room at least 10 - 15 minutes early so you can welcome any early arrivals.

When the party is getting started take a few minutes to welcome your guests, introduce yourself and tell a little about your company, products and opportunity. Ask if everyone is familiar with your company, if they have any of your products etc. If you have some that are not familiar this is the perfect time to tell them how much you love your products and why. The one's that are there and have some of your products ask them which is their favorite. I would probably only spend around 10 minutes to do your introduction, touch on your company products and opportunity, then some chit chat about the products previously mentioned to break the ice and get everyone relaxed.

Send the link to your website or wherever they can view your products. Pick a few products to talk about, show them any items that are on sale etc. Maybe give some suggestions for gifts for an upcoming holiday etc. Again, use about 15 minutes to do this.

We are up to a half hour now and some party rooms only allow you to use it for 30 minutes, I'm doing this based on a 60 minute party. You'd want to use the last 30 minutes of your party to answer any questions, play a game, give away prizes, tell about any special offers, how to order, payment methods accepted etc.

These are basically done just like an in home party only you're online, so just make the necessary changes to do it online. If at an in home party, you are holding up a certain product talking about it, just have a picture of it available for them to view while you 'tell' about it in the chat room.

It's a good idea to have everything written up that you want to say in a word doc or notepad, that way you can copy and paste it into the chat...it saves a lot of time, by not having to type out everything in the chat room itself.

You'll need to adjust the amount of time you spend on each topic according to how much time you have reserved in the party room you are using, some only allow 30 minutes while others allow 60 minutes. These tips are based on a 60 minute time slot.
